It feels so good to recognize where I have been and the fun I’ve had! It feels equally good, and exciting and perhaps a little nervous making (in the way of good stress) to look towards where I’m going. Here’s some of it! Enjoy!

We’re so excited about what 2025 is going to bring for Intercultural Understanding however it’s also a great moment to take a minute to look back over the previous 12 months. 2024 was a wonderful year for both collaborations and learning. And we’d like to give thanks to all our partners who worked with us on various types of intercultural trainings and programs. From developmental intercultural coaching for Georgetown University in Madrid and Salamanca to facilitating workshops at Marist College, the University of California in Madrid and Barcelona and also in Valladolid with E.V.E. I'm so thrilled about the Cutting the Ties that Bind courses that my mom Mandy Staffa and I are launching in 2025. A new year is often a time to take stock of where we're going in our lives. Making us wonder how can we push ourselves further and, in the process, become the person we want to be? For me, coaching is a way to achieve coherence in our lives. The challenge is fun, the challenge is a way to test ourselves. Embarking on coaching is a challenge to get you to some new place where you want to be - and where you can achieve this through fun discovery. Cutting the Ties that Bind (CTB) gives me a method for inner work and Personal Leadership gives me one for outer work. While both are technically “inner” work their focus is different. CTB frees me from programming that no longer serve me, and PL gives me a view into ways of being that do. What I bring to my clients through the combination of methods is an invitation: I am going to ask you to try something new. In our Introductory and Intermediate online Cutting the Ties that Bind courses we will be working with symbols to create changes in our lives (see some of them in the images). ✴️ It's through symbols that we can communicate with our unconscious. ✳️ One cannot change oneself unless one changes the unconscious mind.
